Aragonite is a dimorphous calcium carbonate that grows mainly in clusters or as a twin crystal. It is quite common. Colors can vary from orange to brown. The name originates from the river in Spain. Some famous mines are also to be found in Slovakia and near Carlsbad in the Czech Republic. Aragonite is used in Aquariums to keep the conditions right. In general, aragonite keeps the PH down. It is also scientifically proven that it removes zinc, cobalt, and lead from contaminated waters.

In crystal therapy, it is used for resolving problems with the ovaries, the prostate gland, circulation, central nervous system, chronic fatigue, and hair loss. It is very good to accelerate the regeneration of bones fractures.
